In the May 2024 issue of Quantitative Imaging in Medicine and Surgery, the paper “Evaluation of tubal patency based on peak injection pressure in four-dimensional hysterosalpingo-contrast sonography among infertile females: a preliminary study” written by Dr. Wang et al. (1), was published with the following errors and should be corrected as below:

  • In the Results section, “As expected, the volume of contrast agent used in patients with bilaterally nonpatent tubes was the smallest (22.7±6.3 mL), followed by those with unilaterally patent tubes (24.3±9.3 mL). Similar volumes of contrast agent were used in the bilaterally patent group (18.9±9.2 mL) and the unilaterally patent group.” should be corrected as “As expected, the volume of contrast agent used in patients with bilaterally nonpatent tubes was the smallest (18.9±9.2 mL). Similar volumes of contrast agent were used in the bilaterally patent group (22.7±6.3 mL) and the unilaterally patent group (24.3±9.3 mL).”
  • There are some mistakes in the authors’ information and their contributions. The mistakes are described as below:
    • In the author list, “Ling Wang1,2#, Xin Chen1,2#, Min He1,2, Sha Hu1,2, Quanlin Ren1,2, Xiaoying Qi1,2, Yifei Tan1,2, Hong Luo1,2” should be corrected as “Ling Wang1,2, Min He1,2, Sha Hu1,2, Quanlin Ren1,2, Xiaoying Qi1,2, Yifei Tan1,2, Xin Chen1,2, Hong Luo1,2”.
      It indicated that Dr. Ling Wang is the only first author of this article, Dr. Xin Chen and Dr. Hong Luo are corresponding authors.
