We hereby announce that Quantitative Imaging in Medicine and Surgery (QIMS) has attained its latest impact factor (IF) for the 2024 citation year: 2.3 (Figure 1). The slight decrease in the 2024 IF is related to the significant increase in the number of articles published in 2023. However, the 2024 CiteScore remained the same as it in 2023 (= 4.2).

Quantitative Imaging in Medicine and Surgery is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal indexed in PubMed, Scopus and Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), featuring original reports and reviews in medical imaging, including X-ray, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy, nuclear medicine and related modalities, and their application in medicine and surgery.
