We hereby announce that Quantitative Imaging in Medicine and Surgery (QIMS) has attained its latest impact factor (IF) for the 2022 citation year: 2.8. This new IF is lower than the 2021 citation year of 4.6, with the new IF complicated by WoS’s revised method to count the denominator. Some articles we considered published in early 2022 were classified by WoS as published in later 2021, thus increasing the denominator for 2022 citation year’s IF.
On the other hand, this year QIMS received its 2022 CiteScore of 4.2, with a steady growth over the past few years compared to the CiteScore of 3.5 in 2019, 4.0 in 2020 and 3.9 in 2021.
